Painted Parasol Studio was born out of a love of all things cute and quirky. Launched in 2021, it hopes to spread positivity one card at a time.
The owner, Ellie NM, is a graphic designer/illustrator with a background in magazine and newspaper development.
She started her own small business after returning to rural Dorset following nearly a decade living in Southeast Asia, where she cultivated an appreciation for the beautiful hand-painted parasols of Myanmar.
Now she is continuing the adventure and drawing inspiration from life amongst the rolling hills of Southern England with her husband and two children.
